Sales Operations Specialist
Salary up to £33K plus a £4700 benefits scheme which you can choose to opt out of and recieve as an additional salary.
The Sales Operations Specialist will work across all brands to price campaigns in co- operation with our brand partners and provide subsequent analysis of business performance. The team itself is the hub of Commercial Activity and therefore the scope and reach of this role is far reaching and will provide a variety of tasks and exposure around the wider business. The role will involve a close working relationship with our Field Sales Team, the Brands and external providers.
Pricing and negotiation of campaigns and products in accordance with company profitability objectives, commercial objectives and brand requirements
Implementation of campaigns and products accurately and to the required timescales. This includes setup of product sheets, working with the pricing and dealer services teams to ensure they are set up on systems.
Analyse and report on various business statistics (including but not limited to finance renewals, sales statistics, trends, campaign performance) using various reporting tools - both internally and with the brands. The analysis should be used to help influence future strategies in line with business priorities
Develop and manage various Sales Animation projects and schemes such as - Retailer incentive trips, Retailer Excellence scheme, various bonus schemes
Review existing and develop new reporting /measures as the business requires
Analyse the market, keeping a close eye on trends and new ideas/innovations
Be an point of contact for various Sales, Marketing and Reporting functions, to support and develop the relationship with them
Build a strong working relationship and work closely with the Field Sales Team to keep a strong commercial awareness of the wider business and our Retail Network
Assist with the onboarding of any new brand to the business
Support the Sales Operations Manager in special projects and adhoc requests.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideally educated to degree level standard, or equivalent.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including complex pivots and formulas), Powerpoint and Word is essential for this role.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels up to and including directors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A high degree of self-motivation and time management skills with ability to manage multiple work streams & prioritise accordingly. The ability to think creatively and use the latest trends and methods with regards to both the training and sales process aspects of the role.
An in depth knowledge of retail automotive finance and insurance products, car dealership sales practices and processes, and finance company processes is highly desired.
