The Portfolio Manager’s responsibilities will include assisting the Head of Portfolio Management and operational support in respect of managing London’s EIG asset portfolio, which comprises c.70 files under management.
 In addition to taking direct responsibility of allocated files, the Portfolio Manager will cover for the Head of Portfolio Management in absence of the latter.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
Duties, in relation to allocated portfolio files, will include:
Preparing waivers requests for submission to management and risk
Liaising with facility agents (including in-house where agency mandates are managed by Middle-Office)
Preparing of annual  reviews
Liaising with RPC (risk department) for all credit-related matters
General monitoring of files and transactional credit profiles
Maintaining all portfolio-related systems, e.g.
KYC, Phidias, Eurecca etc
Providing the sector heads with all relevant information pertaining to files under their sectorial responsibility
Where applicable, ensuring that sums due (e.g.
fees) are collected and properly accounted for internally
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time
Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role.
Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Essential : Finance or business degree from a recognised business school or equivalent.
Desirable :Qualified accountant, MBA or similar
