This role will be focused around supporting the Blue Square Group (Blue, Live, Active and Media Square) across all of our Marketing activities, however the primary objectives of this role will be:

1. Delivery of a new website for Blue Square and websites for our 3 sister brands.
2. Development of a product portfolio across all 4 brands
3. Working with Head of Marketing and BDM to build ATL & BTL strategies for commercial growth
4. Supporting Head of Marketing across the breadth of all marketing team activity

Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility:


* Create initial plan and agree budget with Head of Marketing and Directors
* Wireframing, UX and UI
* Conceptualise, review and develop the build (working with coding and design agency)
* Develop initial SEO and PPC strategy (option to work with external agency in short term)
* Build a content strategy in line with Employer and Commercial Brand objectives
* Planning and Project Managing the testing, launch and post launch phases
* Specifically, the 4 brands of the Blue Square Group offer the following;
* Field Marketing-specific services (Blue Square)
* Corporate events and Incentives (Live Square)
* Digital Solutions such as Intranets and Social Media publishing apps (Media Square)
* Retail execution, design and build, experiential concepts (Active Square)

Product Management:

* Responsible for building product portfolio, ready to go to market (Blue, Live, Active & Media)
* Product portfolio is then the basis of our proposition to the market in 2020.
* Developing Portfolio as a key component of the new website
* Working with Managing Director, Head of Marketing and BDM to structure product/proposition

Person Specification

* Innovative & creative
* Commercially astute
* Flexible thinker
* Confident working with external agencies
* Comfortable being client facing where required
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


* Marketing Degree (advantageous)
* Able to tailor product to a commercial model, e.g. cost of sale, P&L, budgeting etc.
* Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Retail and Partnerships backgrounds all preferable
* Previous website development & digital marketing experience essential
