Key Responsibilities:
Provide paralegal assistance to LIG relevant to the operations and business units of CACIB, including supporting the Head of LIG and the LIG team with the following:
Supporting the Head of LIG in co-ordination of the Legal (LGL) Paris-London contribution to CACIB governance processes for new activities and products (NAPs), including on request uploading legal opinions into the internal tool for NAPs and support for follow-up reviews of conditions applied by LGL Paris-London and other related tasks requested by or on behalf the Head of LIG
supporting the Head of LIG in the review and production of the Legal Paris-London quarterly newsletter and related horizon scanning, legal watch and legal knowhow sharing roles performed by the Legal Radar team, supporting the Head of LIG in researching legal issues and developments relevant to the Legal Radar team
involvement in appropriate matters and projects (eg, non-disclosure agreements, trial/evaluation agreements, organisation and maintenance of practice related materials including by way of example Brexit, electronic platforms and bank secrecy)
participation at the request of the Head of LIG in innovation projects for LIG, for the legal team or for CACIB
the relationship, and co-ordination, with external provider of company secretarial services to CACIB London
in establishing a coherent organisation of internal filing of key knowhow documents, contracts and other relevant documentation (such as law firm engagement letters and indexing of NAP opinions) within Corporate Legal scope
maintaining schedules/records of documents such as the powers of attorney schedules and Corporate Legal Documents List
administration of legal support for CACIB London’s subscription management (including the Newspaper Licensing Authority and Copyright Licensing Agency)
connecting with the LGL COO office (and co-ordination as necessary with other Legal teams) on behalf of Corporate Legal on administrative matters internal to LGL (for example law firm engagement letter processes, updates by LGL of internal policies and procedures and/or support with the internal legal invoicing system)
administration of process agency letter requests to Corporate Legal the preparation and delivery of Legal Essentials presentations to be delivered by LIG teams.
coordination of updates of reporting tables and tools relevant to the LIG team
generally supporting the Head of LIG in the activities of LIG, including organising, attending and minuting LIG team meetings/videoconferences and LGL practice groups which are chaired by LIG members, researching answers to legal or regulatory questions, co-ordination of information and reporting tables for LIG and providing paralegal support on projects within the scope of LIG (and such other paralegal support as the Head of LIG may direct from time to time).

LLB or equivalent
Experience as a paralegal in a law firm or financial services firm or in-house banking role
