Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Business Advisor
Location: Birmingham
Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

The HR Business Advisor team partner with defined business groups, sitting as part of their management teams. You will cover both partnering with the business to implement global processes such as the annual compensation cycle, performance reviews, talent management as well as being able to identify and action both challenges and opportunities which are unique to the site and to the business.

As the HR Business Advisor, you will also be a key contributor to the development of the HR function of the site, through involvement in performance improvement projects and implementation of best practice initiatives across the team.

Your key responsibilities

* Partnering with the business to ensure that, employee relations, talent management and succession planning are a priority and focus throughout the year
* Partnering with management teams to address key resourcing challenges, for example, building a pipeline, management of (international) migrations and the significant build out required for certain teams
* Responsible for supporting and coaching managers in leading teams, embracing and practicing Deutsche Bank's Values and Beliefs and adhering to standard policies and processes
* Supporting performance management activity, for example, annual performance reviews, feedback activity, management of underperformance, driving high levels of engagement in these activities by the business
* Focus on working with the business to embed the role framework and related activity so that employees understand what is expected of them, what learning relates to their profession and career development opportunities

Your skills and experience

* A depth of experience within HR and proven ability to partner with challenging client groups as they experience significant change
* Experience of working within a complex and matrix organisation and experience of developing talent within the HR function
* Strong skills in the interpretation of people related Management Information and developing associated solutions to business issues
* Resilience and tenacity in driving performance improvement
* Ability to develop effective relationships with the business and across the HR team to leverage results; evidence of delivering 'value added' interventions
