You will be joining the Strategic Vendor Partnerships team. The team work across infrastructure functions and business areas to ensure relationships with vendors, who are also clients to Deutsche Bank, are managed holistically and strategically, delivering increased revenue, an optimised cost base, and value delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

* Gaining a deep holistic understanding of all aspects related to how these key Partners engage across all areas of the Bank, including the broader strategic context and underlying consumption trends internally
* Ensuring all avenues of communication are appropriately aligned within the Bank, to broker a culture of partnership between key internal and external stakeholders
* Gathering and summarising complex information in order to provide accurate and timely briefings to influential senior stakeholders
* Working closely with key representatives from a range of vendors, to establish strategic engagement roadmaps
* Supporting the broader vendor strategy alongside the specialist teams within Global Procurement
* Preparing briefings regarding internal vendor relationships, providing detailed context from Deutsche Bank systems such as dbBuyer and Zycu
* Becoming a trusted expert across the Bank's Technology Organisation, Procurement and relevant Front Office business units, regarding the overall relationship health of these important Partners
* Recording of valuable intelligence and capturing of historical interaction information, in order to provide timely, concise and insightful commentary
* Documenting the relationship though the preparation of high quality documentation

Skills & Qualifications:

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high quality work to strict timelines and work with focus/clarity in times of pressure
* Strategic thinker, able to see the bigger picture from the assembled insights and deliver that vision in a clear and insightful way, aligning often divergent priorities of stakeholders in the broader framework of what Deutsche Bank is looking to achieve
* Creative problem solving capabilities, able to remain impartial with an objective outlook, coupled with a diplomatic/sensitive interpersonal communication style
* Aptitude to own and resolve issues independently, able to escalate when appropriate, with an organised and structured working approach
* Reliable team player who enjoys working in an international environment, mindful of the importance of global/regional compliance considerations
* Ability to deeply understand the procurement systems and processes used by Deutsche Bank globally
* Excellent written English language skills, with proficiency in key productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel & Access
* Desire to constantly improve, both individually and across the group, with the consciousness to look at processes and procedures
