Global Markets – Transverse Projects Group

The Global Markets Division (GMD) is fully integrated within the bank to ensure that they can deliver a wide range of capital markets products and services to our clients.
The division develops capital market intelligence, products and services to better serve our clients and develop tailor-made solutions responding to their needs.

GMD also offers clients our expertise by providing them sector intelligence and advising on product ideas and structures suited to their needs.

The Transverse Projects Group (TPG) is a projects management office that deals specifically with complex change that touches multiple areas within the bank.
It specifically focuses on the effective and efficient flow of information between departments.

Within this department, we have an opening for a Summer Intern on the Fixed Income Repo and Securities Lending Initiative.
This aims to optimize balance sheet utilization in the changing regulatory landscape, expand client franchise, widen asset & product diversification and increase revenue.
This is a cross-divisional programme with stakeholders from multiple areas of the bank, including Front Office, Risk, Operations, IT, Finance, Legal and Compliance.

As a Summer Intern you will work alongside Senior Business Analysts (BA) and our technology partners to capture, define and document the business requirements (functional and non-functional.
Your primary responsibilities will include analysing requirements and eliciting requirements alongside Senior BAs.
You will work with our partners in Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operations, GIT, Finance, Permanent Control, Legal and Compliance to ensure that all their requirements including those of Middle Office and Back Office are taken into consideration in relation to GMD FO requirements.
You will be involved in the production of test plans and quality assurance measures based on the agreed requirements.
You will also coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, helping to track defects diligently and advising of issues and anticipating delivery risk.
