Overview:

You have a vital role and are responsible to plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to the design, development and implementation of information systems and software applications. You're also responsible for maintaining, supporting existing systems and applications. The development will champion agile practices and strive to improve the efficiency of the delivery teams through continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Taking accountability for individual development work-streams
* Leading the development team on multiple projects
* Providing the relevant development tools to the developers on the team
* Mentoring the developers on the development team
* Providing estimations relating to deliverables
* Managing all aspects of agile software development project life cycle
* Managing teams through the full software development lifecycle from elaboration of requirements through to transition to customer business as usual
* Ensuring code is documented where applicable or required
* Ensuring code is reviewed and its quality is high
* Responsible for meeting both functional and non-functional requirements
* Leading the deployments to each environment within the development lifecycle
* Co-ordinating Release Management
* Ensuring line and task management for a team of development resources
* Facilitating sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos
* Facilitating discussion, decision making and conflict resolution

Skills & Qualifications:

* Rich experience in project coordination activities entailing Planning, Scheduling as well as application maintenance & enhancement, project progress monitoring, regular reporting to various stakeholders and delivery as per quality, time and budgetary norms
* Experience managing agile SDLC including development roadmaps & and scope
* Experience working with both onshore & offshore Development teams
* Ability to challenge solution, analysis, development and testing deliverables including the estimates
* Comfortable in leading development, analysis and test functions as needed
* Good exposure and knowledge on Agile (Scrum, XP, Lean) Methodology
* Successfully handled different project Risks (Technical and Organizational)
* Strong experience in planning, organizing and managing resources to successfully complete project goals and objectives within predetermined constraints
* Be effective leader with proven abilities in leading tams during the project phase, guiding team members and enabling knowledge sharing among the team
* Experience with managing, forecasting and budgeting of resources from reporting point of view
* Some knowledge of the key responsibilities of an investment bank's Compliance department (preferably Attestation, personal account dealing, Licensing, Front Office Registration and Outside Business Interests)
* The ability to work effectively with all levels of clients and IT stakeholders up to and including director
* Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical audiences
