Overview:

Our technology teams are responsible for the Bank's entire information technology ("IT") infrastructure, and the development, implementation, and protection of the software required to support all of the Bank's businesses. We move over EUR 1.6 trillion across the Bank's platforms, support thousands of trading desks, and enable millions of banking transactions, share trades and emails every day.

With award-winning mobile banking apps and trading systems, our technology platforms help Deutsche Bank deliver high quality products to clients. Naturally, we make sure that the phones work, emails are delivered and PCs run - but we also develop collaboration platforms and workspaces that help our people share their knowledge, expertise and passion for our business.

As a Senior Java Developer you'll join the Portfolio Analyser team within the Enterprise Risk Technology space. You'll assist with the implementation of a new regulatory risk reporting platform to meet regulatory requirements including Stress Testing across all asset classes in the firm. As a Senior Java Developer you'll be a self-starter, who is comfortable with independent engagement across Business Analysis and Project Management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Migrating existing solutions to new platforms
* Evaluating and Validating Technology
* Implementing new reporting solutions to business requirements
* Helping to establish and enforce development processes
* Helping to deliver pilot projects for architectural improvement

Skills & Qualifications:

* Educated to Bachelor degree level in a relevant discipline (or equivalent qualification / work experience)
* Core experience in C and C++
* Good understanding of a GC language (Java, .NET) and scripting languages
* Good exposure to computational concepts
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong hands-on development track record
* Banking experience, particularly in risk
* strong core application or system programming skills, and good exposure to concepts and/or technology across the broader spectrum
