Barclays Global are currentl recruiting x2 Python developers.

The key responsibilities for the Python Developers:

* Design, build and test the integration of Loan data feeds into existing c#/python engine
* Data Analysis - profiling and validation of large inbound data feeds against required inputs
* Execution of test run - Running C# calculation solution end to end and analysing/writing up test results
* MS SQL DB development - development of MS SQL objects
* C# - some requirement to run c# binaries and amend configuration parameter
* Own engagement with other development teams to define in and outbound data feeds for solution
* Accountable to work independently, solve own issues or escalate where not.
* Accountable for production of high quality, documented code and complete and clear testing reports
* Full understanding of the project background, priorities and front to back architecture and design
* Accountable to use SCRUM and Agile techniques in software development, including JIRA, TDD
* Responsible to understand the SDLC of the project and ensure code adheres to each phase criteria
* Produce work in timely way, where possible in accordance with estimate at sprint planning
* Own review of other team members work to ensure collaborative and team approach to end solution
