This role is work as a Project Management / Business Analyst resource for Sales Policy Project.

The Sales Policy centres on governing the sale of Markets products to help facilitate transparent sales practices for the benefit of HSBC, its employees and clients. The new Global Sales Procedures have been developed to:

1 Establish a more robust and globally consistent sales process for Markets products
2 Replace the current methodology currently employed
3 Learn from recent regulatory reviews
4 Reinforce the principles of the Markets Global Sales Policy and of 'needs based' selling
5 Deliver fair outcomes for our clients

The Sales Policy Procedures have been formally approved globally and the project is in the process of implementing into all HSBC sites that transact Markets products.

The candidate will be expected to work closely with Banking, Markets, Compliance as well as IT BAs in order to ensure a smooth rollout and transition to BAU, ensuring that the project is implemented on time and within budget.

Responsible For:

1 Ensure all Sales Policy impacts to process and systems are clearly understood and managed
2 Own and manage the project plan
3 Produce and agree global TOM and transition to BAU plan
4 Implement regular site level MI
5 Manage requirements traceability through execution and transition to closure
6 Actively manage risks, issues and dependencies, reporting up to the Conduct PSC as necessary
7 Manage project scope, impact assessing for change requests on design, scope, time, budget or effort on plan and provides accurate estimates for handling new requirements, design changes and scope
8 Track and manage project financials


1 Good Markets and Banking product knowledge
2 Previous experience of working in a PM role
3 Previous Policy implementation / conduct experience
4 Degree educated
5 Highly skilled in the use of MS Office tools
