Productions systems and process senior manager

Warner Bros International Television Production acquired Eyeworks in June of 2014. Following the finance integration activities, 9 Operating Companies (Opcos) are now using WB's SAP and Just Produce systems, with the remaining 6 Opcos retaining legacy accounting and production processes.

Solution Design & Governance

* Drive consistency in procedures, controls and application of Just Produce and interface to/from SAP across Opco's (TVP UK, Eyeworks & BlazHoffski)
* Input into prioritisation of change requests / enhancements
* Provide information and assessment to ITVP Finance Director and ITVP VP Finance for business sign-off of enhancements and key project milestones (e.g. data migration)
* Chair regular systems enhancement meetings & input into prioritisation of change requests / enhancements, ensuring business justification for upgrades and fixes are adequately documented
* Oversee Interface translation table change requests and interface error handling issues
* For any new deployments and systems enhancements, participate in systems testing. Support data reconciliation as part of migration process
* Ensure Opco manuals; processes around production petty cash, banking, payroll, procurement etc meet required policy standards.
* Support training initiatives and act as an advocate for Just Produce and Interface

* Drive consistency across Opco instances of Just Produce
* Support prioritisation of enhancements release management
* Maintain central repository of Opco process documentation
* Create training materials and make available to Opcos
* Ensure Opco Navision manuals are kept current
* Build and support power user network
* Manage relationships across internal and outsourced teams and vendors
* Communicate key changes to Opcos, including JP release schedule
* Act as subject matter expert for resolution of complex process issues
* Drive resolution of issues that have been escalated by Opcos and cannot be resolved by help desk, power users or systems teams

Policy and compliance

* Ensure WB policy is applied across Opcos and manual operations and embedded systems controls meet the requirements of the ITVP control framework
* Rollout WB accounting manual to Opcos
* Ensure that processes are adequately documented and input to SOX programme for production processes, to include P2P and maintenance of Just produce security framework. Implement SOX/compliance remediation to Opcos where required and work with external & internal auditors on any recommended enhancements
* Oversee the process for systems security maintenance, ensuring new users are added in timely basis and with correct security profiles
* Understand & maintain matrix of systems and process responsibilities across finance (RACI) and ensure adequate SOD exists at Opco level


* Work with Opco production and finance teams to ensure adequate production budgeting controls are in place and support production community on the efficient use of Just Produce budgeting functionality.
* Act as subject matter expert for JP to SAP data reconciliation processes as part of the monthly close processes. Identify where issues in the reconciliations require training or support at Opco or EFS (shared services team)
* Track & ensure Opcos, TS and EFS maintain required service levels for outsourced activities
* For non SAP/JP territories review & document processes and controls and support initiatives for meeting and maintaining required compliance

* Navision Just Produce systems implementation and maintenance experience desirable
* SAP experience preferred
* Experience in either outsource or shared service environments
* Experience working with financial processes and improving controls
* Proven experience at a production company preferred
* Experience of having worked in a multinational organization with ability to influence operational and -non finance teams during a period change,
* Good understanding of the international TV market is essential, including programme making, the production process and deal making. Proven track record working successfully with senior business leaders, creative heads, operational and financial management
* Commercially aware and grounded but with the ability to be "hands-on" when required
* Able to lead and build a motivated team; an enthusiastic "builder"
* Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deal with the various internal and external stakeholders
* Significant experience within a multinational company at Senior manager level highly desirable.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

* Graduate or of graduate calibre
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant preferred
