Acting as the Team Lead and Manager of one of the core and key reconciliation processes you'll be supporting both the Global Equity Derivatives (GED) and Global Prime Finance (GPF) business lines. You'll oversee up to 5 London based resources and have direct contact with Trading and Sales (together with other operational teams).

One of the key control reports performed is the Listed Futures & Options reconciliation where we reconcile what has been captured in our Risk management platform versus what has been cleared and processed in the Bank Office (BO) system.

Key Responsibilities:

* Performing daily transaction / position and cash reconciliations focused around trading of Listed Futures and Options
* Conducting root cause analysis on breaks seen and helping to create daily Management Information Systems (MIS)
* Working with Trading to help fix upstream issues and also other Operations teams when applicable
* Conducting testing on new functionality being delivered as and when required
* Owning the change agenda for this control and working with global partners to ensure that the reconciliation works for everyone globally

Skills & Qualifications:

* Banking experience (preferably in Listed Futures and Options)
* Effective time management and an ability to work effectively under pressure
* Ability to analyse large amounts of data and identify issues, escalating and communicating any issues articulately to management
* Ability to build credibility with senior partners and aid fostering relationships with the Front Office together with their own team
* Reconciliation experience and knowledge of Clearvision, GMI or Imagine (beneficial)
* Management experience (beneficial)
* A strong attention to detail with a past trade support background (beneficial - especially working on a trading floor type environment)
* Strong excel skills (beneficial)
