Lean delivery manager

07 October England - Stockton-on-Tees, Stockton-on-Tees Perm €1.39 per annum

* Lead a project team to scope complex, high-visibility Lean Transformation projects that span multiple central departments and disparate department
* Structure the project approach and determine process improvement tools to be used for maximizing the net improvement in targeted business processes
* Take ownership for planning/managing the execution and integration of initiatives and activities on cost management and productivity, which may include members from all disciplines of the organization
* Manage and enhance the Client relationship with other business areas, performing impact analysis on change and ensuring that requirements are met

Key Accountabilities and Skills required:

Lean Delivery - 80%

* Develop and execute comprehensive Lean management strategy relative to project and stakeholders; orchestrate and lead Lean management methodologies.
* Assess current state conditions holistically covering Company, Customer, Colleague, Control and Citizenship in order to identify pain points and root causes of inefficiencies
* Understand how to reduce rework, improve quality, improve efficiency, increase revenue and/or improve the ability to deliver desired services or outputs
* Identifying sources of process inefficiencies, organizational and skill building limitations
* Design the future operational state by streamlining processes, setting KPIs and defining new ways of working
* Ensure sustainability of solution implementation to help deliver lasting change
* Support cultural change towards a continuous improvement mindset. Coach line managers and team members on tools and methods for improving efficiency and effectiveness and deploying future state processes
* Provide hands-on team facilitation, coaching, mentoring and/or training, and process improvement subject matter expertise to business partners
* Ensure approach is documented to form a foundation for Lean centre of Excellence for BE Service Transformation

Client Management - 15%

* Face off to stakeholders where process understanding is required
* Facilitate stakeholder requirements through the Lean change processes
* Role model and coach Lean Leadership behaviors

Control - 5%

* Understand the appropriate Policies & Standards applicable to role, through reading the Code of Conduct and other training allocated
* Where responsible for risks and controls ensure that these are appropriate and fit for purpose
