Work Placements at Deutsche Bank for recent graduates on the autism spectrum
Following a successful pilot scheme in 2016, Deutsche Bank is offering work placement opportunities for recent UK-based graduates on the autism spectrum. We aim to offer valuable experience of the work environment across both infrastructure and business line functions on a three-month placement programme, enabling the individual to build their confidence and go onto further employment.
Opportunities are available in the following core business areas:
Corporate & Investment Banking, Finance, Operations, Risk and Technology
Positions are available in both our London and Birmingham offices.

The type of candidate we will be looking for will have the following qualifications, experience and skills;
* You will be a recent graduate; a 2:1 university degree would be desirable
* You will have an active interest in investment banking and one of the core areas we are hiring into
* You will have either previous work experience or have examples of volunteering or extra-curricular activities
* You will have good attention to detail and motivation to learn
* You will be able to work well both independently and as part of a team
* You will have an analytical mindset, with a structured and logical approach to problem solving
* You will be able to work with data (i.e. spreadsheets, databases, etc.)

Corporate Finance is comprised of coverage teams that ensure the delivery of the entire range of financial products and services to the bank's corporate clients. The business includes the Mergers & Acquisitions team as well as the debt and equity capital markets teams.
Equities and Fixed Income & Currencies are dedicated to building long-term, sustainable relationships with the bank's key corporate and institutional clients. Together they offer a market-leading institutional sales force, world-class research with trading and structuring expertise to provide clients with access to liquidity and customised solutions across a wide range of markets, products and regions.
Global Transaction Banking is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide.

Our Operations group provides support for all of Deutsche Bank's businesses to enable them to deliver operational transactions and processes to clients. Our people work in established global financial centres such as London, New York, Frankfurt and Singapore, as well as specialist development and operations centres in locations including Bucharest, Moscow, Pune, Dublin and Cary.
