This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Global Markets Division to support on the CVA Desk.

Key Responsibilities

This role operates within the CVA / Scarce Resources Pole, part of the Global Markets Division.
Within this pole, there are 2 teams: Trading and Project & Business Management.
These teams focus on reinforcing the risk management within the bank, meeting all accounting and regulatory constraints whilst remaining competitive and optimizing resources such as risk weighted assets.


This particular role will focus on assisting with the management of counterparty risk and capital usage for the CVA Trading Desk.
This mainly encompasses analysis of the existing portfolio and the build-up of the infrastructure, identification of the main risks across the global portfolio as well as the improvement of current pricing methodologies.
You will also be involved in various transversal projects related to XVAs with close collaboration with GMD operators and support functions.
On top of this the role would look too assist with derivatives adjustments pricing as well as the development of the CVA platforms amongst other change management activities and campaigns.
It will also be your responsibility to ensure adherence with regard to position and risk limits, market and counterparty risk, pricing guidelines and you would work closely with support functions to ensure accurate and efficient processing of trades.


Essential role requirements


• University graduate with a minimum classification of 2:1 or equivalent.
Or an undergraduate currently during a course of study, predicted a minimum classification of 2:1 or equivalent

• First banking experience in either a dealing room, a risk or audit/control department, with a motivation to work within the risk area

• Excellent communication skills

• Initiative and Analytical skills

• Project management skills

• General knowledge of banks and dealing room procedures

• Competencies in Finance and Financial Control, and knowledge of Fixed Income is desirable

• Flexibility o be able to address a variety of tasks and prioritise them
