The Role

This is an exciting new opportunity within our Information Protection team and an essential part of keeping both KPMG and our client's information safe and secure. The team are currently recruiting for a role within the Client Inquiry and Awareness area to:
a) be front and centre with the business to support sales and delivery teams respond to questions and queries they receive on information protection topics from targets and clients; and
b) support the development and rollout of our firm's information protection training and awareness programme.

Main Responsibilities

The following is a summary of the main responsibilities for this role. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time:
-Supporting the business in the response to client queries and questionnaires during the tendering process;
-Work with the firm's contract unit to review and evaluate contractual obligations received by clients;
-Respond to and support the business with general queries on information protection topics (including those received through Risk Connect).
-Supporting the business in embedding Information Protection Plans into BAU through reviewing IPP's and providing advice.
-Supporting the implementation of awareness communications and training messaging.
-Working with confidentiality champions to embed good information protection process and culture across KPMG offices.

Skills and competences

*Interest to progress a career within information protection / security;
*Ability to deal with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, in a confident and assured manner;
*Ability to act independently and exercise good judgment;
*Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks;
*Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.


*Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field or equivalent experience desirable;
*Information security certifications desirable.
