Financial Services | Team Leader | Life and Pensions | Customer Service

We are working within one of the largest global conglomerates, dealing within a variety of sectors and spanning the globe.

The company have an opening for an astute Team Leader within their large customer service team, the main purpose of this Team Leader role is to supervise a team of 15-20 Life and Pensions executives, managing productivity and carrying out appraisals as required, with support from the wider HR department.

The ideal candidate

- Life and Pensions knowledge on a generic basis,

- up-to-date FCA knowledge with regards to the insurance industry and all recent regulatory changes.

The role is offering an immediate salary of £25,000 with salary reviewal each year.

Excellent benefits including: 25 days holiday, 4 x death in service, 5% performance related bonus, BUPA, pension, flexible bens.

Key Requirements as a Financial Services Team Leader:

·Good understanding of the Financial Services Industry

·Generic knowledge of Mortgages, Life and Pensions products

·Experience in complaint handling

·Ideally qualified to FA1, CF1, CF2 or equivalent (The company will fund these courses for you should you have all other relevent experience, they expect you to be fully qualified within 2 years.)

·Strong communication, both spoken and written

·Ability to motivate and supervise a team to ensure achievement of Service Level Agreements

·Ability to interpret MI statistics

·IT literacy

Key Responsibilities as a Financial Services Team Leader:

·Overseeing individual team targets and team quality targets

·Motivating and inspiring the team

·Providing feedback to team members

·Carrying out appraisals, disciplinaries etc

·Identifying training needs and overseeing training and development plans

·Attending team meetings, workshops etc

·Producing and analysing weekly and monthly management information
