Summary of main duties and responsibilities:

* Performing the day to day processing of financial transactions to ensure that customer accounts are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner
* Ensuring that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
* Preparing, verifying, and processing payments to the customer accounts (including cheques, Direct Debits, BACs transfers and Debit/Credit Card)
* Clearing errors associated with a payment (ARUDDs and ADDACs associated with Direct Debit, and identify and correct Payment Discrepancies)
* Verifying refunds - automated refunds, running/re-running any customer statements, as required, ensuring refunds are extracted daily for payment, and processing off-system refunds and ensuring correct signatures obtained
* Appropriate closing down of customer accounts, to ensure further payments are not taken or DDs reactivated and any refunds will be noted on accounts
* Any other duties as required

Temporary Position

£8.72 per hour
