Consistent with the Bank's Values & Beliefs and the Code, the process of whistleblowing is essential to maintaining a positive compliance culture, in which employees adhere to all Deutsche Bank policies and respect all applicable laws/regulations in all jurisdictions. The Whistleblowing Central Function (WBCF) team is responsible for assisting with daily operations and the implementation/ development of the whistleblowing framework.

Key Responsibilities:

* Executing on strategic objectives for the Whistleblowing Programme and contributing to the strategic direction of the programme
* Acting as subject matter expert on Whistleblowing issues across Deutsche Bank
* A senior point of contact, responsible for co-ordinating Whistleblowing compliance across Deutsche Bank
* Partnering with other functions to maintain a strong Whistleblowing risk framework
* Handling whistleblowing reports received through the whistleblowing reporting system and through other reporting mechanisms, including assessing the reports, allocating cases for investigation, escalating where appropriate, and dealing with whistle blowers
* Managing the global Whistleblowing framework and governance including the maintenance of policies and procedures and liaising with country AFC officers
* Ensuring that the firm meets any new regulatory requirements and is in line with industry best practice
* Handling requests from internal and external Audit and ensuring remediation of any control weaknesses identified in respect of Whistleblowing
* Representing Deutsche Bank, where appropriate, on external working groups relating to Whistleblowing
* Working closely with the various investigatory teams, including acting in an advisory capacity, and in respect of investigations and lessons learned/remediation

Skills & Qualifications:

* Ideally a subject matter expert in Whistleblowing, with sound practical knowledge and technical knowledge of whistleblowing and related investigations financial crime and data protection regulations
* Experience of investigations, in particular whistleblowing investigations would be beneficial -
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English mandatory and knowledge of German language desirable)
* Action-oriented senior lead with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple stakeholders
* A team player with a desire to contribute to the development of less experienced team members
