So what do we expect of you, day to day?

Here's a bit of a heads up:

* You will log and track issues reported by users
* You will analyse and troubleshoot issues and take responsibility for ongoing incidents, owning problems through to implementation
* You will propose and implement solutions to user problems and requirements
* You will maintain and improve system documentation and user guides using departmental wikis
* You will action urgent data requests and investigations
* You will communicate with stakeholders to fine tune their requirements, negotiate and set mutually acceptable delivery schedules
* You will create training materials and lead training sessions of users via web sessions and face-to-face
* You will build relationships with colleagues across the globe to create a set of essential contacts
* You will communicate effectively, both formally and informally
* You will mentor and train other team members
* You will maintain an awareness of current industry trends, products and techniques
* You will identify and implement system and process improvements

What we're after…

* A passion for Fintech, and in particular payments
* Experience of developing and implementing multiple MicroStrategy projects
* Strong analytical skills - the ability and determination to find the cause of problems and identify solutions
* Strong communication skills - working with agile development teams with a variety of skills is a key aspect of the role
* Experience of Hadoop technologies (Hive, Spark, Sqoop, pig, Hbase, Impala).
* Experience of delivery using other reporting tools e.g. Tableau
